NCAG Artists Featured on CBS Chicago
Michael Bever, NCAG's Chicago Region Artistic Director, and fellow veteran artist Steve Kost were featured in a CBS News Chicago segment on veterans finding connection through art. The piece covers a group exhibition at McCord Gallery and Cultural Center in Palos Park, 50 works from more than 40 veteran artists, running through March 28, 2026.
Kost, a Navy Seabees veteran, took up metal sculpture in 2015, welding together found objects and household materials.
Bever, an Army Ranger veteran, paints scenes he calls "unseen beauty," often drawn from overlooked corners of the city.
