We will use embossing and printmaking techniques to make festive and lovely Valentines Day cards to wish our friends and family a happy V-Day! We will also send some of our finished cards to our active troops to let them know they are loved and missed!

Use glass, plastic, and wood beads with leather and elastic thread to create works that can be worn as necklaces, bracelets and as other cool pieces of handmade jewelry.

Learn the delicious art of assembling and rolling your own sushi…share your creations with other members of the group, or savor for yourself! Veggies, seafood, rice and even sizzling beef will be part of your artistic palette!

“It’s Yours Pottery” is an Omaha-based paint-your-own-pottery and glass fusion studio that will lead this exciting ceramic workshop. We will create art that is both decorative and usable!

Winter is upon us, so warm up your barn, or house, with a “barn quilt” square! Use colorful precut shapes and panels to create vivid designs worthy of framing. Mix colors and patterns to make mesmerizing patterns that will delight your inner Midwesterner!

In this workshop we will use patterns and designs cut into oil-board stencils to create intricate and layered abstract paintings. Even our paint brushes are specially designed for this unique and entertaining form of paint handling.

Use tinsel, evergreen, paint, glitter and other trimmings to give sparkle to your own unique handmade ornaments. Give them as gifts or use them decorate your tree, your mantle –or decorate the MVSC!
