The collaborative exhibition between NCAG and Joslyn Art Museum, “ArtPost,” has received recognition in the journal of the Association of Art Museum Director’s Community News section. "ArtPost" opens to a crowd of 450
NCAG/Joslyn “ArtPost” Exhibition  opens to a crowd of 450

“ArtPost”, the culminating exhibition of NCAG emerging veteran artists and professional artist mentors, opened in the Community Gallery of Joslyn Art Museum in Omaha, NE on Saturday, November 5th. The opening reception was part the military family fun day that drew a crowd of 450 to 500 patrons into the museum. The exhibition will be on display through Dec. 31st, 2016. EXHIBITION OPPORTUNITY!! Southwest Iowa Art Tour 2016 — Oakland, IA


WHAT: Southwest Iowa Art Tour 2016

WHERE: Community Building at 614 Dr. Van Zee Road, Oakland, Iowa (1/2 hour drive east of Omaha)

WHEN: Saturday, September 17th from 10:00am – 6:30pm and Sunday, September 18th from noon4pm.


This event is a part of the Southwest Iowa Art Tour, and its purpose is to promote professional artists across Southwest Iowa. This is an opportunity for artists to showcase their work, interact with the public and sell their creations.  All artists will be vetted prior to the event to ensure professional quality.

In addition to the tour, the event in Oakland will serve as a fundraiser for the Community Development, Vision 20/20 project to repurpose the High school building in Oakland into a unique, regional destination that will attract visitors, workers, business growth and a provide a place for creative people to work and live.

Vietnam Veterans’  wives display their “Barn Quilt” projects

New Century Art Guild is pleased to have participated in the well attended  32nd Annual Nebraska Vietnam Veterans Reunion in Omaha, NE over the weekend of August 12-13th.  Several art workshops were offered by NCAG to Vietnam veterans and their family members throughout the reunion, providing an opportunity to share stories and make new friendships. NCAG looks forward to participating in next years reunion!

New Century Art Guild is pleased to open our new Nebraska headquarters and art gallery in Olde Towne Bellevue. An exhibition of NCAG’s 2016 Veteran Artist Grant Recipient Neville Bridgeford’s photography and paintings and the photography of Navy Veteran, Jeff Wild will be on display until September 30th. The opening event will also run concurrently with City of Bellevue’s “Arrows to Aerospace” Parade and festival on Saturday August 20th.
